Jane Bergkotte is an interactive artist whose work combines the analogue with the digital. Inspired by natural processes with a fascination for growth and adaptability, he applies chance and serendipity within his work. As a result, it never stands still and the work continuously adapts, even while exhibiting. In his work, Jane creates a framework over which he has all influence, within this framework he relinquishes control. The programme takes over movements based on algorithms or responding to audience interaction.
